The Bahá'í Gardens are a stunning staircase of 19 terraces cascading down the slopes of Mount Carmel, leading to the golden dome of the Shrine of the Báb. Unique architecture, perfect symmetry, blooming flower beds, and breathtaking views of the bay make this one of the most beautiful places in Israel.
Entrance is free, but the gardens may be closed on rainy days, Yom Kippur, and Bahá'í holidays.

Getting There
- All entrances are accessible by bus.
Parking is available, though finding a spot can be challenging.
Walking between entrances is not allowed without joining a guided tour.
Can You Walk Through the Entire Garden?
To walk from the top terrace to the bottom (about 750 steps), you must register for a free guided tour via the official website ganbahai.org.il.
Without a tour, each section is accessible only from its own entrance.
Tour Path Specifics:
During the tour, the path does not follow the central staircase but goes along a side trail. This is not a tourist track, but a specially designated pathway through the greenery, parallel to the main terraces.

Best Time for Photography
For the most flattering light and fewer people, I recommend scheduling a photo session before 10:00 AM or after 4:00 PM. The soft lighting and gentle shadows at these times reflect the peaceful atmosphere of the gardens beautifully.
